Groundbreaking nursing home project

Through a grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), we are working to protect nursing home residents from unnecessary hospitalizations. As one of only seven organizations in the nation selected for the “Initiative to Reduce Avoidable Hospitalizations among Nursing Facility Residents,” we're partnering with 23 nursing homes in 14 Alabama counties.

Diagnosing the community

As quality assurance professionals, we place a great amount of emphasis on preparing healthcare providers to meet the needs of their communities. To do this, we study anything and everything about a local population in order to predict what may ail them. Demographics, socio-economics, environment, you name it. Then, we put together a detailed assessment and plan for how healthcare providers can better serve their communities through awareness, education and promotion.
