As Alabama's QIO AQAF works with the members of the state's health care community to improve the quality of health care for the more than 800,000 Alabamians with Medicare, and for all of the state's residents. Together we all contribute to the whole of the health care system by aligning our strengths and capabilities.

AQAF's staff successfully implements performance improvement projects and initiatives across nursing homes, hospitals, home health care agencies, and physician offices. AQAF is an accredited provider of CEUs and CMEs. Under its contract with CMS, AQAF provides consultative services and offers technical assistance on performance improvement, interventions, and evaluation methods without charge.
